We would like to introduce you to Cedar Meadows Game Farm! Southeastern Ontarios ultimate destination for upland hunting. Our 100+ acre facility offers you some of the best upland cover consisting of tall grassy fields mixed with beautiful maintained trails throughout the bush giving you the chance to test your skills at many levels. With over 30 years of hunting, guiding, and dog training we will be sure to provide you with an experience that will last a lifetime.
When you book a hunt – guided or unguided – you will get a tour of our land beforehand.

The ring-necked pheasant is known for its elusive tactics against hunters and dogs. It's been referred to it as the court jester of the uplands. The rooster's mastery of tricks such as holding tight, flushing out of gun range, running, doubling back, and sometimes sneaking right past you is all part of his game.

Nicknamed the “devil bird,” the chukar is not for the fair-weather hunter. These game birds introduced from the Middle East and southern Asia thrive in the steep slopes and treacherous terrain of the Great Basin region of the western United States, where they’ve evaded many a hopeful hunter.

The most hunted species of North American quail – not just because of the challenge and fun involved, but also because this popular little game bird has the most widespread range of all the quail species. The bird is so-named because of the distinctive two-syllable “bob-white” whistle call of the male.

Hungarian Partridge, often called “Huns,” are known for their fast, explosive flush and strong flight. These upland game birds provide an exciting challenge for hunters and dogs alike. Their quick covey rise and unpredictable flight patterns make every hunt a thrilling experience in the field.
